    Rising Blood Glucose Levels

I was prescribed statins two months ago to be taken alongside my usual 2000mg Metformin dose. I have noticed that in the last few weeks my waking level has increased from my normal 7.8 or thereabouts to somewhere around 10. I have not changed my diet from my usual in that time but am cutting out...

I am aware of what will happen during and after the screening but I'm just squeamish when it comes to messing about...

    I'm so dumb..

Can't believe I did this... packed bags for the next 3 days as I'm staying with my fianceé over christmas.. all but my glucose meter and finger pricker.. I did pack my insulin at least.. [emoji51] Guess I'm gonna have to wing it... not practical to travel back 20 miles back home to get it. Ah...

    Testing your meter.

Does everyone test their glucose meter regularly? I have been given a new meter from my clinic and was advised to contact the manufacturer of my Glucomen LX+ meter, to obtain a bottle of test solution. I was asked to test the meter when ever I opened a new pack of test strips. Having received...
