    Just been back to see my practice nurse HBA1C now down to 37 and weight down to 98 kgs (15 stone 6 lbs) a loss of 10 kgs ( 22 lbs) to be told that I have done very well and am almost in non diabetic figures and can now stop taking metformin (was taking 2 * 500 mgs)

    Personally I really like Belgian Chocolate with 85% or 90% Cocoa but find I never have a whole bar at a single sitting

    Personally I find waist size a little problematic as due to a build up of release of intestinal gases I sometimes have to adjust my belt from the fifth hole to the third hole to the fifth hole all in the course of a single day

    I believe 6.5 is a touch high while 3.1 is a touch low best of luck settling down in the middle

    Yesterday's reading was 5.8 but then slipped off track and overate having Sunday Lunch at a restaurant and this AM was 7.1 but resolving to get back on track by returning to prior meal sizes and making a point of asking for small portions on occasions when I eat out.
