Snack Cravings - Add to the list!...

A spoonful of Marmite in hot water makes a great alternative; I don't care for Miso much.

All of a suddon lack of appetite after 6 months on LCHF

This is a totally out of date topic, but I have SO lost my appetite since being on LCHF! Anyone else suffering the same? I feel I can't eat anything; I'm just so bored with it all. (Weight loss stalled about 3 weeks ago which may have a lot to do with my lack of enthusiasm!)

Oopsie bread and psyllium seed husks

Very good as a digestive aid, but 9 carbs per dessertspoonful is off-putting!

    Psyllium Husks

I find the problem with Psyllium husks is that one dessertspoonful has 9 carbs! I resent using all those carbs on something so foul- tasting!!

    Type 2 weight loss plateau

Am I alone in wondering if a quick sugar boost might re-ignite the low-carb burn? Ive been thinking in terms of maybe one or two jelly babies (instant sugar). I can't see it would do any harm, but might just shake up the metabolism. Any thoughts anyone?

    Type 2 weight loss plateau

Hi @smithjohns Surely 800 cals is far too low? I find if I go too low, my weight loss seizes up. I think the metabolism thinks it won't be getting any more, so it stops losing lbs.

Has anyone tried Vida or MyFitnessPal?

My Fitness Pal is a must for me. It does keep telling me I'm eating too much fat, but I need to juggle with my goals to eliminate that. It's a great way to keep an eye on carbs.

Weighing yourself - too much detail?

@LittleGreyCat - your post "I will be particularly interested to see if the daily rate of weight loss slows down gradually as I lose more weight." I find the loss slows considerably after the first week or so, don't lose heart - it's all good!
