It was a new needle. I always use a fresh one each injection. It’s a 4mm. Looked normal length and a bit of insulin was on the tip of the needle as often is when I pulled the pen out after the injection so I don’t believe it was clogged.

Thanks. Yes I’ve had a few transmitters fail early before and they replace them. I’ve got a spare transmitter so will start that and hope it pairs to both receiver and phone app.

Hi Does anyone use nightscout with dexcom G6. I had set up nightscout years ago with G5 and spike app but never really used it and was wondering if G6 data can be easily shared directly to nightscout. From memory it was quite a task to set up.

Just an observation ;) ….. when I have cold fingers usually morning and evening when my circulation seems poor my fingerprick results are lower by 2-3 mmol than when I warm up my fingers. Does anyone else find this ?? Just curious

I opened a new pen vial of novorapid yesterday. I now notice lots of tiny air bubbles in the vial. I always prime and use a new pen tip for each injection. I know we all see air bubbles in our insulin vials at times but are so many tiny ones normal ?
