I gave up just over 2 years ago after smoking for 20 years at the end I was smoking 40 a day, due to health and nagging. I used drug option, and it worked. But they should warn people about your sense of smell improving and that not all smells are good....

Forgot to say got one set of results, my cholesterol has gone from 4.4 to 3.3 which is some good news for me.

Went to my doctor's and had word with the diabetic nurse. No need to worry, my liver fuction was a little up from my last one (what ever that means lol) and its a routine appointment. Wish the recptionist would have said that in the first place.

I hope for the "better" results, but in the logical side of my mind is telling me good news can wait where as bad can not.

No worries, my typing / english are not the best. It just seems odd to me, that my doctor wants to see me when I see my diabetic nurse. Even on my 1st results I did not see a doctor.

Its a pity that the NHS can not have the same standard of care for all Diabetics. My nurse is great always helpful. But I have read some real horror stories. I know, not everyone is the same, but the care should be equal.

Thank you for that, I have a blood test every 6 months blood for cholesterol, and blood sugar, due to having had a heart attack last year in April. The blood test before this one was normal, so I have been caught early. .

I had a fasting blood test due to an ongoing problem and it came back as 7.6. The Doctor said I would need a tolerance test. Which I took, the results came back as at :- start 7.6 after 2 hours 14.5 I have been told I have Diabetes type 2 and I am seeing the Diabetic Nurse on 3rd nov. All I...
