    Just been to my pharmacy and been told there is a problem with insulin and victosa until January 2024...what the. What has anyone else been told? I did ask what are those on insulin going to do...die?

    Go on you tube, loads of stuff from beginners to advanced. I like my kettle bell, but I also like Lucy Wyndham Read, she does 7 minute slots, and you can build a playlist.

    My point was that, we stuffed our faces with rubbish and ended up with diabetes. Some people watching it would have said, see, told you, even a nurse says they brought it on themselves.

    Just watched channel 4 and heard a nurse pointing at all the Easter eggs donated and saying our staff are going to get diabetes!!! Now most of my family are nhs staff and they are marvellous, but to state this!!

    Stress also has a dramatic effect on blood sugars as does bad sleep. So I would go easy on yourself for the time being.

    Metformin and Alcohol

    I drank with it, my friend who is now t total drank loads on it, hence becoming t total, alcoholism loomed, so she stopped drinking but nothing to do with metformin.

    Could be what's called dawn phenomenon, where your liver dumps glucose to get you up and moving. How long have you been on statins? They also raise levels.

    you can't avoid carbs. But you can avoid the obvious ones in pasta, rice, potato and bread.

    Latest Dr's review....statins!

    I believe it can take about 6 mths lchf to bring down cholesterol levels, because the body needs to adjust. Statins will mess up your bs levels too.

    I get mine from simply cbd. Lasts ages and works on my arthritic fingers and thumb, can't do without it now.

    Canagliflozin and Ketones?

    I was given a ketone meter by my db nurse because of the risks of of hypos. After researching canagflilozin I decided the risks of side affects weren't worth taking it.

    Needles.

    Just had my needles changed from finepoint 4mm to carepoint 4mm. Can anyone enlighten me please as to the difference apart from cost? Cheers.

    I loved them, do freeze the ones you don't eat. They go mouldy!!!!!
