    Thanks, i was just gona post and say that nhs and nice say 4-7 before and under 8.5 after 2 hours so my results are good. Thank you all for replying. I am going to try reducing carbs even further.

    Hi , not on any medication. Only been low carbing for few weeks. My fbg was over 9 at diagnosis last month. Mostly eating eggs,above ground veg,tinned tuna or salmon etc. How low should my sugars be? Around 6 in morning. Are they pretty bad at the moment?

    Thank you all for replying Ladybird 64. I am currently eating under 70 carbs a day, alot of fish, chicken ,tuna,salmon. I dont eat breakfast either, i do 16/8 fasting . The weights coming of slowly. I dint eat rice,pasta, potaotoes,or bread at all now. Am just so scared of diabetes...

    Should u get tested if family members have diabetes?

    In my case my my mum and her side mostly have it. I do think its genes and also what kinda lifestyle you live.. I for instance was eating alot of sugar and sodas, hardly any excercise. x
