    Type 1 Basal Dip

Thanks for your response!! so sorry I didn’t reply I got caught up with exams and travelling etc! Unfortunately I’m still having this issue, but maybe my answers can help. Yes I’m currently using the libre with the miaomiao sensor to use it as a CGM, but I don’t think the drop is a pressure low...

    Type 1 Basal Dip

Hi there! I was wondering if anyone could offer me any advice. Every night before bed my blood levels seem to be on the good side, at around 6-10mmol. Then once I do my basal and go to sleep, it drops in the night. I’ve tried eating a little before bed, but sometimes I still drop. If I eat more...

Dexing my libre - blucon nightrider

Hi there! Recently my mum found this on a website because they said they were launching something in the next month or so, maybe their finalised iPhone app? I was wondering if you were still using the bluecon and if so, how it's going?

    Libre and sport

Haven't had experience with yoga but playing any sport in hot weather (30 degrees +) seems to result in mine falling off. I've been using rock tape however I find even the tape can start to peel off sometimes if I have a super sweaty workout. Hope this helps!

Type 1: What are your HbA1c test results?

Thanks for all the advice! I am currently on the libre and starting to correct more but I do think a switch to the dexcom would help a lot!! Hopefully I'll be able to purchase one soon!

    Type 1 Idiopathic Type 1??

Thanks a lot BeccyB, I'll look into the DAFNE course and see what I can do with my current doctor. Here's to hoping things start to get back on track!

    Type 1 Idiopathic Type 1??

Yes I'm looking forwards to meeting with a new team and hopefully adjusting my method. I've been on the libre now since October last year, if I'm honest I'm still not sure what all the graphs mean but I know that my averages are quite high so I've definitely got to do something, just angry that...

    CGM or not?!

Thanks for the information. Can I ask what the low hypo alarm is set at?

    Type 1 Idiopathic Type 1??

Being on the libre I test all the time whenever I walk past my scanner so around 10-15 times a day. Unfortunately after reading more on these forums I think I've been doing everything wrong from the beginning. 11.3 as you mentioned wouldn't be considered high in my opinion. I've sort of assumed...

    Type 1 Idiopathic Type 1??

Yes as you've explained this doesn't sound like what I've been taught! I've always had a set Bolus and adjust that based on my levels (e.g if I'm 8 or below I do regular, and every 4 points above 8, I add an extra unit. So basically if my normal is 12 but my blood sugars are 13 I would do 13.) I...

An update on the SugarBeat sensor patch...

Interesting! This is the first I've heard of this product (and even this concept). Any idea what the new MARD percentage is?

Dexing my libre - blucon nightrider

Thanks so much for all the information!! I'll look into it a bit more before I buy but for something that has an endless life (asides from batteries that need changing) it might be worth investing in and retrying with multiple sensors as for me the price doesn't seem too bad.

    Exams

I just finished my exams (IB not A-level) and I had the exact same experience!! I do however try and stay on the high side during exams because I'm terrified of going low in the middle and everyone seeing me checking and eating! Have you ever gone low in an exam?

Dexing my libre - blucon nightrider

Can I also ask about sticking it on with tape? Does it seem very bulky when stuck on top? Also what tape did you use to stick it on?

Can I ask does this work with all phones?? Or is it only for android?

    Libre/CGM sensor - bumps, knocks & trauma

I had a similar experience knocking mine on a door... seems the exact same thing happened to you as mine felt a bit funny but that feeling disappeared after a few hours. I just assumed that the filament was still in considering the numbers were still showing!! My worst experience was when I...

    CGM or not?!

Hi there. I'm off to uni in September and am naturally worried about monitoring my bloods 24/7. Although I've never had a hypoglycaemic attack, I'm terrified of going low in the night and not waking up! At the moment I use the freestyle libre which is great because I've been able to monitor my...

    Type 1 Idiopathic Type 1??

As far as I'm aware I am antibody negative although I'm going to ask my doctor again on Monday to make sure. I always carb count when I eat, and measure everything at home and try to judge carbs when I'm out. At the moment my doctor has me on 40g of carb at breakfast, 50g at lunch and 40g again...
