A day after my gallbladder was removed I started having high readings in the 20's. Is it common to have high readings after surgery? I'm eating very very small portions throughout the day for example 1 egg and a half a slice of bread and a small cup of tea. Would this cause high sugar readings?

I checked my sugar levels before I go to sleep, which is 7.6 Should I eat a small meal before injecting my overnight slow release insulin(36units)
