    I’m being recommended to move from the Accu-Chek Insight to the Medtronic 640 because of severe hypos and no awareness. Any thoughts or recommendations please?

    Access to Dexcom

    I should have added I also get at least 2-3 standard hypos per week but I treat these with help of Freestyle to spot them during day, or blood level just bounces back during night.

    T1 for 31 years, on a pump and no longer get any signs or warnings of hypos. Self-funding Freestyle sensors which help a lot during day at night. Four major hypos since 2014.     accu chek insight

    I've been on the Insight for nearly three years and agree with almost all the +ves and -ves above. No real complaints and nothing that can't be overcome. I'm now using Freestyle Libre sensors so no longer use the handset and control the pump directly.
