Hi all, well it’s now been 3 months since my diagnosis with a hba1c of 97, I’ve just had my latest result and its come down to 53.. I’m a little bit disappointed as I would have liked it to be a bit lower but I’ve nearly halved it so I must be doing something right.. I’m determined to get it...

Thanks for the reply, I didn’t know that protein and fat can delay the rise in BG?? I’ll definitely be testing on the lower reading hand in the future.. haha.. I’m off for my first hba1c test now since diagnosis, hoping my numbers have decreased a bit from my first test of 97!!! Cheers.
