    If you check Metformin on the internet it will take you to an NHS page which indicates that you can drink while taking Metafornin. I still drink the odd beer 1 or 2 a week and red wine and scotch and water. The one Drink I have been strictly warned off is Cider by my my DN. Full of Sugar and Carbs

    Me too the weight just crept up on me and several rugby tours didn’t help. I only found out i was T2 after seeing the GP for a different issue. The weight loss has plateaued so back to the exercise bike [emoji605][emoji49]

    Hi just remember you should put sprouts on in January and simmer gently for 12 months and they will be the right texture for Xmas. They are ready when drained and go straight through the sieve. They won’t cause any wind![emoji1335]

    Hi i am built like a prop forward so have plenty of weight to lose and am no longer as fit as I should be. Hope to lose 5 stone but they would prefer to lose 7 stone. I havent been that weight since i was 20 and was skinny as a rake. Still just have to get on with it Regards
