    Metformin

I too am on metformin, 2 500mg a day and feel the same. I was wondering whether it was a bug that was going round. Should I too ask my GP/Diabetic consultant whether I should change my intake.

    New Relationships

I'be been in a relationship with my fiance for nearly 3 years, I explained what I could within the first few weeks. She has questions and I try to answer as best as I can. It's better to be open about it all, answer questions if you know the answers and if not look for the answers together. I...

    Sugar Cravings

I inject twice a day; 31 units in the morning and depending on whether I'll be having a bigger tea (at weekends) it's normally between 5 and 15 units. I have smaller teas with the job I do.

    Sugar Cravings

I know that the carbs are enemies to us but Im in work from 2-10 and I'd need something that will be slow release and keep me going until I finish. Pasta is only 70-100g for me and its the only cards I would be eating other than the porridge

    Sugar Cravings

So after Xmas had passed I started trying to gradually get through the little chocolate I had received. Little by little it would go down but then I find myself in the shops, buying packets of chocolate to eat after work, you know, like the small bars of KitKats or Dairy Milk. I've been wanting...

    Holiday Insurance

Hi. I purchased insurance for my holiday at the beginning of May and was wondering, since my birthday is late May, would that affect anything as it shows me as a year younger than what I am? Thanks.

    Flying with Diabetes.

I've never injected into my stomach in the 6 years I've had Diabetes... How different is it from injecting in your legs? Does it absorb differently? Sorry about the questions.

    Flying with Diabetes.

I do my injections in my legs so I don't really want to pull my pants down (even if it is only down a little bit) to inject. The timing of my evening injection would only be 2 hours later than usual so I could move earlier injections to a later time and make sure I have dinner before boarding...

    Flying with Diabetes.

Hi there :) I'm going away to Tenerife in 2 weeks and I was wondering about Diabetes and Flying. My departure flight is around the time I would normally inject so I was thinking about delaying it a little and doing it as soon as I land. I still don't feel confident doing it in front of people...
