Good luck. Hopefully medication/ creams will help and any surgery isn’t required .

    balanoposthitis

I “ googled” for 6 months +. Went to see GP then specialist and everything was sorted in 6 weeks. Not balanoposhitis for me but the end result was circumcision, uncomfortable but worth it in the end.

    balanoposthitis

I would strongly recommend you seek expert advice. You may find a lot of ideas on what to do to help alleviate the problem but from my own experience seeing a specialist is the No1 way to go. Surgery and the not wanting to go down the route is obviously a daunting thought but it’s nowhere near...

    Type 1 Help please!!!

It sounds like it maybe the after affects of the hypo making you feel so bad rather than the juice and dextrose. We’re all different but personally juice and 5 dextrose wouldn’t make me feel bad. I have made myself feel bad by over treating a hypo but that included far, far more carbs. ( a whole...

    DAFNE

@staceyp . Sorry to hear your struggles to get on a DAFNE course. Firstly, if your CCG doesn’t run DAFNE then it’s going to be difficult unless you register with an area than runs DAFNE. Not sure if this would be an option. Secondly. If you was able to get booked onto a DAFNE course you may well...

    Tight foreskin and erection problems

I’m not a doctor and can’t comment on the medication your taking and it’s side affects. Only my opinion but I feel there could be 2 separate issues. The problem with the tight foreskin is most likely not directly related to your nerve damage issues. Thrush, which I’ve suffered from in the past...

    Tight foreskin and erection problems

I suggest you go back to your GP and get a full examination. How are your BS levels. Thrush is quite a common problem for diabetics whose sugars run high for to long, but what you describe sounds more than thrush. Having had a similar problem that started earlier this year ( which I ignored for...

Has there been a change in the appearance of your foreskin? Has the skin turned white, red or started to split?

    Type 1 Dexcom G6

I found putting the new sensor on prior to the old one expiring saved me about 10 mins ( every little helps ) By the time I’d shaved , wiped, skin tacked, unwrapped and stuck the new sensor on I’d wasted precious my time. There is also an argument for letting new sensors bed in as it were...

    Type 1 Dexcom G6

As a Dexcom user I had a similar issue. Old sensor died at about 10.30pm. Change over, 2 hr warm up and an annoying alarm about 12.30 telling me I was back online. To get back to a more reasonable time I just ended the sensor session at 7.30 pm ( lost 3 hrs of usage ) removed old sensor and...

What are you doing to keep covid out of your home

So your suggestion is to kill the young, virile breeders of a species to make it ultimately stronger? Perhaps you need to watch some of David Attenborough on TV to understand how other species that we share this planet with manage to survive.

What are you doing to keep covid out of your home

I fully understand. I no more want to die from covid than anyone else. SEPSIS. Kills more people than cancer every year worldwide, approx 11 million people. Sepsis can kill you from no more than a cut on your finger, even a scratch that goes unnoticed. Like you say. “ stay safe”:)

Now this is getting ridiculous. I’m actually in awe of something you have posted. A brilliant article that makes perfect sense and is obvious to so many of us.

    Type 1 and Teacher

@Emmett7. I think a lot depends on how well controlled your diabetes is. All the current guidelines have become somewhat blurred overtime, but what appears to be the general consensus is that if you have good control ( an HbA1C below 78 ) and have no other underlying conditions then your risk...

What are you doing to keep covid out of your home

I’m keeping my levels of hygiene at the same level I always have. I going out of my way to respect social distancing for the sake of others. My wife shops for us and 3 other elderly couples on her own, I wait outside the supermarket for her. I haven’t had physical contact with my grandchildren...
