    Caffeine

    Hello. Sorry i dont have too much to add. (T1) I love a strong coffee in the morning from my espresso machine - half a mug of warm milk with a double espresso thrown in. I wake up and my blood sugar is usually around 5-6. An hour later, post coffee fix, it shoots through the roof to 14 and above!

    How Much Insulin Do You Take?

    63-72 units a day. 3x5-8 units of novorapid and 2x24 units of lantus. Age 32. T1 27 years. My weight is good and im fairly slim. However i am 6ft 3 and since i broke my foot (which is verrrry slow to heal) im not active.

    should you reuse pen needles

    I have used one needle until the pen runs out for 20 years without issue. I put on a new needle tip when i start a new pen. If the needle feels blunt or for any reason i dont think ive kept it clean, i swap it for a new one. Although my consultant reccomends use for 3 jabs and replace.
