I am from Sheffield and today was my diabetic consultant meeting in Hallamshire Hospital and they do give you a breakdown of all 3. It was on her computer screen so I would challenge that with your Doctor.

I am on insulin and just started on SR Metformin on Monday ... I was a T1 but now they say I am a T2. I haven't noticed any side effects and my readings are what they were before taking them although DN has lowered my insulin ... Taking just the 1 tablet.

Wow what a journey .... You will get there and dont give up .. Baked beans is a interesting one as I eat these alot and I was counting them as normal and the DN said to halve what I was eating for insulin and works for me. It's a learning curve everyday ..... ☺️

Hello all ...never commented on this thread so decided to join in. Tomorrow is my monthly DN appointment and March was a busy month for me... 301k steps and walked 115+ miles spent 8 days visiting towns/cities ... Had a few drinks ... Never hypo'd once .. Today woke up with a 5.6 and out...

Had a late meal last night and was higher than normal. I didn't panic as I know it comes back down and this morning it is back to 6.1 Out tonight for a few drinks so shall be packing all my essentials for the night. Have a good day everyone
