Hospital visit and all good

Not posted for a while and this morning went for my diabetic checkup with diabetic consultant and good news I won't see her again for a year.

Now off insulin all together and on x2 Metformin tablets a day.

No need to take anymore readings.

Hbc1a is 37

Cholesterol are:
HDL = 3.7
LDL = 1.49
Triglycerides = 1.8

Not sure if cholesterol is good or not. Shall research later .She did mention statins but told her I am not taking them ever.

So all is good. Need to keep carbs down and don't eat junk food

I'd still keep an eye on blood glucose readings if that is what you were told to not need to check anymore.
