    Hi, I'm getting quite a few symptoms pointing towards diabetes.... What number should a none diabetic aim for after a 14 hour fasting, or at normal times through out the day??.... Yesterday after a fasting I was in the 7's, today after fasting I was 4.3mmol, what do you think of these...

    Thanks Ann, yes I'm booked in for a Hba1c test, just been using home test kit in the time being.... This morning after fasting 14 hours I was 4.3mmol, so a change from yesterday

    Hi, i done a home fasting sugar test last night, with the last food I ate was at 8pm and that was a bowl of berries, this morning my blood sugar reading was 6.9mmol, is thi bad?

    I was just reading up on the HbA1c test, and I got a reading of 39 as 5.7mmol, is this right?

    Thanks for explaining the Hba1c test in more detail, so I'm over the 3 months averaging on 7mmol ? Is this high? Could I bring this down with diet, exercise before it is to late? I have just had my dinner at 5pm, when would be the best time to check my blood sugar?

    Thanks for that valuable info.... When I done the HbA1c test, it was at 08:38am and there was no fasting as it was a routine test with others, so I probably would of had a couple of coffees with sugar, so would the coffee of changed the results?

    Hi, no I don't have diabetes that I no of.... The reason I checked my sugar levels is that I have a few symptoms like sore eyes, bloated stomach, bad circulation on feet, skin problems etc.... Do you think I have a chance of having it?? I got tested last year after fasting and I was 5.8mmol

    Hi there, I had 2 cups of latte with 3 sugars in each cup this morning at 8am, I checked my sugar levels at 10.30am and they came back at 9.8mmol, is this a very high reading?? I no it should be between 5/7 mmom.... Should it of been that high over two hours after drinking two lattes?? Any...
