when it come to type 2, do we lose beta cells? Or are we simply all insulin resistant where we still have all our cells?

so last week I had my first eye screening test...whilst I was there the nurse showed me the images and said there’s tiny little bleeds which would most likely go away by the time I have my next test in a years time..... So I received my letter today and it says ‘your test result Showed some...

Yeah just bleeds no retinopathy, but she said she had to do a closer check and then send my results in post...she said the bleeds were extremely tiny

so I had my first eye screening test today....the nurse showed the pictures of my eyes and doesn’t seemed worried at all....she said there’s one or two teeny tiny bleeds but said they will most likely disappear now my blood sugars are normal.....does any one know how quick the bleeding can go...

Well they have been doctors regularly and had test done and they’ve always come back normal

I have tested other friends and families and they have gone up to a 8 after meals but are perfectly healthy...so I don’t know

And before I ate it was 5.2

I had cauliflower cheese, veggie sausages, broccoli and roast potatoes, average of 70g carbs....I find I can eat up to 200g carbs a days and usually have no problems with blood sugars as long as they are spread throughout the day. I should of checked the high number again but didn’t think too...

so I checked my blood 1 hours after my meal it was 7.4, completely normal Then 1.5 hrs later I checked 8.9 so was very surprised as I rarely get those numbers. So I check 30 mins later, and it was 5.1 mmol. So was that 8.9 most likely an error?, I didn’t wash my hands as it was only 30...
