Anyone having big reliability issues with Freestyle Libre 2 Plus sensors?

I've had two recently which have turned out to have no needle. Yes, they replace them but I'm also having a lot of ''temporary sensor problems'' where there is no reading. I've been using Libre2 plus since October last year, and I think they are getting less and less reliable. Thinking of trying...

    Reversing Eye Damage

I use Lutein Zeaxanthin. This was recommended to a friend for her age related maculopathy by her consultant. As I had been told I had some spots of diabetic maculopathy, I thought it worth a try. At my next clinic they had disappeared.

    Same food different reaction

I queried this with my consultant a few years ago (btw I've had it for 64 yrs). He said there are 11 things involved, you only have control of two , and you will never get the same result twice counting carbs. All you can hope for is a trend.

Has anyone quit using Freestyle Libre?

I've been type 1 for 64 years, and I've been using Libre 1 then 2 for many years now. I wouldn't be without it now, just for the alarms as I tend to night time hypos. It's saved my life, I'm sure.

    Choice of pumps

I'm being given an NHS pump. I've narrowed the choice to between a YPSO pump with a tube, and an Omnipod5 patch pump. I would love to get members feedback on the pros and cons of each of these pumps please, as I have to choose between them.

    New to Tresiba - Flexibility?

I was told by the diabetic nurses that Tresiba doesn't flatline, it goes up and over in a loop, then down again. I'm having problems with going low at bedtime and high first thing in the morning, which bears that out. I have it before breakfast. Going to talk to someone about it asap

Freestyle Libre 2 sensors worse than before? (failure thread).

I have been on Libre 2 for quite some time, and have been using one of their readers as it is small enough to sit in my pocket and I like to switch off my phone at night. Recently the nurse persuaded me to install the Libre Link as she said the results would go straight to them ( I'd been having...

    Over 40 statins as standard?

I am 76 years old and have been T1 since I was 13. I was offered statins as a matter of course around age 45 to 50. I tried them, and they made my hair fall out so I stopped them pdq. Since then I have taken Plant Sterols and Benecol, and my cholesterol is fine ( can't remember the numbers, but...
