Yeah, I am quite new to all this measuring. Yesterday it was 4.4 after a long walk. Then after resting for 2 hours, no food or drink intake, it went up to 5.0. Really strange. I do notice that stress move the needle. This, sadly, is not as easy to control as food intake.

Thanks I been pricking myself for the GlucoNavii daily glucose test. For this I only need a tiny drop and hence only a tiny prick. For the HbA1C, is it the same process except squeezing more blood into the tube? Or do I need to make a deeper prick?

Would be great to be able to get good number with 150-200 gm of carb per day. I am Chinese so rice (polished) and all sort of noodle is such a staple part of my diet. Until now. Fortunately, I am getting use to eating less of it.

I noticed that immediately after I wake up, before breakfast, my glucose reading is about 6.1 to 6.5. But during the day, before lunch or dinner, it drops to low 5 for high 4. Is this a normal pattern that is decreases over the day?
