    thank you all for your replies really helpful, i just think its a pain in the bottom when you're chilling out with your family as a young adult and you can't enjoy some cooling down refreshements with them as one used to lol. Thank you everyone.

    Heartburn

    Past week or so i have been getting bad acid reflux and hearburn symptoms. I am on metformin but the slow release one and having to firm the gaviscons at the minute. Has anyone suffered anything similar, im definetley not coeliac either.

    Yeah i usually take 2 with my evening meal anyway so shouldnt make much of a difference just the meal will be eaten a little later once the sun sets ;)

    Didnt have no covid prior to diagnoses most of my diabetes was brought on by stress eating and linked to other medical conditions.

    Isnt ketosis dangerous as it makes your blood acidic or do you mean ketosis as in your body cant find carbs to burn so it burns fat for glucose?
