    My nurse took me off Met SR because I'm in the 5.5-6.5 range but I had to restart it after 4 days because of the severe headaches.     Have you had trouble getting test strips?

    I am type 2 diagnosed Nov 2011 and was told on my Desmond course I didn't need them and that testing should be left to the medical profession, so I have never mentioned it to my nurse or GP.
