    Kkkk- During the day it seems like your background insulin is too high because its only there to keep you sugar level stable, not lower it.     Half of the time it is down to too much background insulin. Try test you sugar level at 1am and then at 4am, if this is the case your sugar levels are dropping at bedtime you need to lower your background insulin. Hope this helps :) Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    I always correct my sugar levels before food, adjust me levels to danfe targets and then for the carbs I eat. Wait 5 hrs later so there is plenty of time for the insulin to completely work and then check my sugar level. Hope this helps Ian :) Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

Just adding the app. Yes my diabetes is much more better then ever before and its nice to know I can eat anything I want , plus knowing the right information from reading carbs and taking the right amount of insulin.
