Hi I was wondering if someone could advise me I'm looking to buy a new accu chek meter but all the ones I am finding are manufactured in Poland, Germany or the USA how does the country the meter is made in effect it I'm really confused

What's the lancets and tickets called so I know exactly what to ask for ?

Yeah was under active when I was first tested but they re tested and it was fine

When I have hypos I feel really shaky don't really get tired off them I'm on metformin and glameperide tablets and for some reason I feel constantly tired even though some nights I get like 12 hours sleep

My last HBA1C was 7 my morning reading is normally about 6 and after meals I can spike up to about 10 at most depending on what I have eaten

Does anyone else feel really tired and fatigued even though your levels and diabetes are controlled any advice?

Well they originally said I was type 1 coz of my age but they started me on metformin to help me till I could get sorted with insulin but the tablets worked really well and lower my blood sugars right down so they said I was just a type 2 but now the tablets don't seem to be working much now

Co Could it be I've built up a tolerance to metformin

Hi I think I may be changing into a type 1 from 2 is this possible my meds seem less effective and my blood sugars are going up my thirst and head aches and a funny feeling in my fingers have returned any advice would be appreciated
