    Confused about breakfast

I'd go with the first. If I don't have some breakfast I just have liver dump, which puts up my bs levels anyway. Just finished my lunch,,(I know it's early, but hubby is a postie and we rise at 5am). Had a pommlette. A cross between a pizza and an omelette. Not a crust to be seen. Lol

    Biscuits/Cookies

Now that's more like it. Decided to bake at the weekend, and it wasn't a success. Now will try with recipes I've seen from the afore mentioned site.

    Breakfast

Egg muffins are good. I cook them at the weekend, freeze them and stick them in the microwave at work for a minute. Can't face food too early and due to never ending roadworks I have to set off at silly o'clock so these work well for me.

    sugar free biscuits

I found some today in my local Tescos for a pound a packet. On offer. Have had them before from Aldi too. Don't get a huge spike from them, so will continue to have the odd one,as they keep well and I can eat them over a fair period of time. The trick is not to gorge on them.

    Highest BG

Does seem to vary a lot depending on who your doctor is.From what I read on here I should be classed as diabetic, but the doc says not, and who am I to argue. Been diet controlled for 5 years. Listen more to the advice on here than what the doc says. Highest recorded Bg was 12.8. Flaming mince...

    Route66

Me and the other half are going to drive Route 66 in April and I'm a bit worried about how to cope with the home of the burger. We have been to the USA before, ( took the family to Disney Land), and I spent half my hols in a strop because they were tucking into burger and chips while I went...

Gardening and exercise with a odd photo throw in has well

Good morningRaymond, suns out here at the mo, but don't expect it to last long. Daren't look at my garden at the mo. After the rain and wind it's too scary to contemplate, so going to bake low carb blueberry muffins and coconut macaroons instead. My treat for the week if hubby doesn't scoff em...

    For type 2`s

I have cinnamon every day for breakfast, along with yogurt and berries, and am holding the meds at bay. Have been doing this for 4 years now and am at present classed as pre diabetic. Heard something on the radio the other day about a report that eating yogurt daily lowers you chance of becoming...

What challenge have you set yourself this year?

This year going I'm to make my garden look like a garden, rather than a wilderness. Cabbages rather than nettles. Also going to make my husband understand it is diabetes, not hypochondria, that's going to be an uphill job.
