    So type one for 14 years, was good up to the point of when my mum let me take control so when I was about 11(going to school by myself). Then down hill I went. Didn't test, didn't inject. Have has DKA several times. Now at 20yrs of age I'm realising that this illness isn't going to disappear...

    T1d has me for sure. On the edge of giving up. Forget to do injections, don't eat properly. I just want to be free from this illness. I don't like a fixed schedule. T1d isn't for me. Isn't for anyone.
