b12

Hey, Do people take b12 with Metformin? Im not sure if im suppose to take it together with metformin or separately. I also take vitaminD altogether with the rest of my medication just wanted to know if it will work better being taken separately. Many thanks. UA

I have just been diagnosed with vitamin B12 deficiency and having a nose online I note it can be an effect of Metformin use, and getting older along with a few others. It was discovered while I had tests at the hospital. I now have to have 3 injections for two weeks then one every three months...

Some months ago I had a routine annual blood test and all was fine except my Vitamin B12 was rather low I think from memory it was 116 pg/mL when the (range is 180 - 1100) I had recently stopped taking metformin as well as fairly regular Omeprazole use and my doctor requested another blood test...

It says there is Vitamin B12 in Marmite and I have been told I have a B12 deficiency. Is it going to be OK for me to use as a supplement of sorts? I think so but wanted to check!
