Waiting in A&E so no lunch

So it was panic stations this morning and I had to accompany Eldetly Relative to A&E - something I always dread. Amaziny got triaged within 15 minutes, then a 3.5 hour wait for treatment. Sadly in all the rush and a naive belief that they'd get seen in 1.5 hours promised, I'd had no lunch. The...

    Subway experience/Advice for Type 1

I'm a recently diagnosed type 1 diabetic, and with university starting back up next week, I've began to think about what's best and quickest thing that I can have for my lunch whilst out and about on campus. Carbs in sardines???

I have always believed that fish are totally carb free, so I was shocked to see that Sainsbury's Portuguese sardines in spring water contain 1.2 carbs per 100g. Is this because one eats the stomach contents? Please can anyone comment? PS I have just checked, and Sainsbury's sardines in olive oil...
