    Keto dosages

How have your dosages changed since going on Keto? My meal dosages have come down from say 8u to say 5u. Which is about what I expected. But my Levemir needs have gone from 8 morning 8 evening, to 16 morning, 3 evening, which surprised me. Do other people have such high daytime basal needs?

Ketonauts, how forgiving are your meal doses?

I've been in ketosis for nearly three weeks (ketones over 1.5) and I'm not finding dosing to be as forgiving as I expected. My mealtimes NovoRapid doses are about 3 or 4 units but it seems that being too low by 1 unit can mean a drop of 5mmol/L and too high by 1 unit can mean a rise of 5mmol/L...

Hi guys, I just changed my insulin cartridge over (novo rapid pen, the non-disposable type) and did my insulin before expelling the air!!! Obviously the dose went in far quicker than usual and I think it means I've missed a good few units. Does anyone know how many units I probably missed? I...
