Hi.
For the last 6 years my diabetic team have picked up on protein in my urine. Not massive amounts so it's just beening monitored.
I have read online that protein in urine can cause a false positive on a pregnancy test. Has anyone found this to be the case? Is it even worth me buying one?
This is interesting. I posted earlier here that my WBCs went down from 7 to 5 after starting low-carb and below chart confirms that. Its interesting to see some other lab results. I see though the thyroid functions went high after a high-protein diet a little? What's your experience ?
I am trying to work out how someone with TID:
on a recommended protein intake of say 80 g per day will ever get low enough in carb intake to go into ketosis?
I am assuming that 50% of protein will be converted by the liver into glucose = 40g
