I am a 29 year old diabetic. I have been diabetic for 28 years. My partner and I have decided to try for a baby, but my last hba1c was 8.3 so obviously I need to sort my diabetes out first.

hi, I'm a thin and active 19 year old girl who hasn't been feeling great, so I've been testing my blood sugar as diabetes type 2 runs in my family. I've noticed that for up to an hour and a half of eating bread and pasta, my blood sugar is as high as 180. It's always below 140 after 2ish hours...
has any of you tried seaweed as a substitute for pasta , and if is it a fine substitute ... is there anything one should know before eating it frequently ?
