‘Stop Eating After 7pm’ Challenge

I'm conscious this thread seems to be evolving to be mainly those who have been doing it a while, and who find it easy.
I'm more concerned with those who don't find it easy and would welcome more of them to post to see what the problems are and whether there are solutions that would help them.
For example, is it snacking
Is it late dinners because of work times
Is it because partners aren't supportive etc etc

Evening all

Good to see this challenge is still going strong.

We occasionally meet friends for lunch, but seldom go out to dinner except on family birthdays, so it suits me. With the Yuletide festivities a distant memory, the only potential stumbling block I forsee is meeting friends at our local in the evening. when I usually sip a gin on the rocks (slowly). Peanuts are sometimes passed round and alcohol tends to weaken my resolve. Anyhow I'll cross that bridge ...etc.

I too finished an interrupted dinner late and then caved just before bed with a square of 85%.

@MrsA2 for me, it’s the incessant picking - a few nuts here, a sweet pepper there, BabyBel etc.
I think it may be that I am having either a late lunch (therefore not hungry enough to eat anything substantial before 7pm) or very early supper because I was really hungry/ going out so I get peckish later.

This challenge is helping me be more mindful of those factors.

I was doing 18-6 and 22-2 fasting, but I am struggling with both now. I need to figure out why. Any suggestions, lovely forum members?

Usually my main meal is in the evening, but today we ate at lunch time and just snacked at motorway services in the evening. So last food was about 8 but did have hot chocolate at 9.
Be interesting to see bg in the morning

Eating 1st meal of the day now at 23:22, not very good at this over here!

I don't mind, it sounded good at the time but in reality its a bit arbitrary and restrictive, so I will just carry on what is good for me.

Finished eating at 5:30 yesterday. I felt very tempted to have a snack (usually cheese or yogurt) about 8pm but resisted. I’m wondering if I finished nearer 7pm this might stop me from thinking of a snack as I’ll still be satisfied after my main meal and I usually go to bed around 9:30.

Woke hungry which is unusual for me and may be related to yesterday's unusual eating patterns.

Have finished for tonight now, even though I'm fancying an alcoholic drink (it's not been a good day emotionally)

So missed posting yesterday but finished my meal at 7 pm as I have a late lunch on Sundays so didn't want to have food when I wasn't particularly hungry. This evening I completed my meal at 6:30.

Yesterday and today finished dinner before 7. Yesterday I was about to grab 2 squares of 85% choc on my way past the kitchen, remembered the challenge, and had a drink of lovely cold creamy water instead. (Amazing water here in Scotland).
