Just had my yearly review a few months late and my blood result has increased from 58 to 100 so my doctor has increased my metformin to 2000 mg a day. My colestral is under 5 and blood pressure is good and I'm only half a stone away from being the right weight for my height. I'm gutted that I've gone backwards.

Hi. Can I ask what age you are and what your BMI is? Sometimes these can be pointers to Late onset T1 and not T2.

Do you have a blood glucose meter, and have you identified which foods are raising your blood glucose like this?
