Hello, I need to ask a question

I'm 24 year old male from Australia, and I got diagnosed in Jan 2015 with type 1 diabetes, I went into hospital with a sugar of 28 and stayed in there for 1 week receiving treatment, learning about diabetes, and just being educated as I never knew what diabetes was until I was diagnosed.

I was put on novo rapid and levmere, and I was getting to many hypos. Went to my diabetes doc and they took me off insulin to see how I would go without it, and now I've been off insulin for 5 months straight. I get up to 10 hypos a day, I could be sitting around at home all day, have big bowls of pasta for dinner with a sugar of 6, and 30 min after it would drop to 2.7. My doc keeps saying it's the honeymoon stage, however reading up on it the honeymoon period is up to 3 months after your diagnosed.
I want to know what other diabetics thoughts about this, could this be true? I'm confused and don't know what to think anymore

Thank you!!!!

Hi @Kicevski91
How do you say that?
I have a condition called Reactive Hypoglycaemia.
What you should do now is have a read of the third red link below in my box.
It is a basic post about what RH is and how to treat it.

Then come back and ask questions.

We RH ers will help you as much as possible.

There is the thread that we RH ers use to discuss things and talk.
It is the first red link. It's long but well worth it.

Welcome to a very unique club.
