????

There are not rules governing when you should eat.

It’s usually best to do so when you are hungry, and not to when you aren’t.

Hi @GlitterSparkles , it will depend on your medication regime. I have a background insulin, and fast acting, so the background keeps me just about in range all the time, and if I eat carbs I inject fast acting insulin to match. Previously I had an insulin you injected once a day (Lente - not used any more). You worked out its profile and ate a calculated number of carbs at specific times of the day to match.
So in answer to your question if I missed a meal what would happen....nothing ;-)
If you missed a meal, I don't know what would happen, you would need to manage it carefully x

Although (puts mum hat on) I might also note that as you are not even a teenager yet, skipping meals should not be a regular occurance.

Hi,

Skipping one meal or making it just a snack, because you are not hungry? (This currant heat, appetite can be affected.) as a T1 on an MDI or pump regime it's flexible enough to do so...
But as you would if you had eaten. Keep testing your blood glucose.

Any change to a plan can affect BS.

A thought just occurred to me @GlitterSparkles (& dad?) did you mean skipping a meal due to lost appetite after a bolus injection??
