Hi

I wear my pump on my arm under 4-5 layers of clothes....occasionally my accuchek combo pump gives just two short beeps.....nothing on remote when I turn it on.....by the time I have gotten through my layers of clothes there is no details on the pump about why it has given off just 2 very short beep beeps.....

Has anybody any ideas???? It doesn't happen everyday. It has just happened. My cartridge was changed this morning. My set yesterday. All my levels are brilliant, and pump is still clicking every 3 minutes.

Nothing on pump saying why it has emitted the 2 short beeps, anybody on a combo that knows the answer would be appreciated.

Not got your TBR on by anychance, this beeps at regular interview... the only other bleep is when it's in stop mode!

The only other thing I can think of, if it's under several layers of clothing would this be enough to depress on of the buttons! So it's bleeps to let you know! This would explain why when you look at your hand set or the actual pump that nothing shows... one depress of the button will sound but do nothing or even show it's happend..

Might be an idea that if you are wearing it on your arm under several layers is to put the pump lock on.. It's unlikely that you would press the buttons in the right sequence etc to give yourself an extra dose of insulin... But if you've got the pump lock on give a bit of extra safety

Yep, been on TBR-so does it just give an occasional 2 beeps just to remind me before it starts alarming that it has finished?

Yes mine beeps if in tempory basal rate. Think it's just to remind you.

Good, it got me a bit worried, that I was missing alarms!!! Problem solved....thank you, Sharon
