As with everything concerning Newcastle and the owners, you have to wonder what is going on behind closed doors!

Can't see him achieving anything, he would need to buy Barcelona, to win anything, survival would be very good in his first season. I think there's been something dodgy every time that th r geordies are mentioned, don't know why?

McLaren may do well there. Hes was really respected by his players at Derby....even though it was common knowledge he was going a little while beforevhe was sacked because he refused to rule himself of out the Newcastle job.

Fixtures came out last Wednesday morning and we have been blessed with an opener at Hull City that should prove interesting. Ill settle for a draw there. Our first home match is against Blackburn Rovers on Sat 15th August. We also drew Notts County in the League cup first round draw. Should be a safe passage to the 2nd round but you never know with the Town
Not long to go now about 2 more weeks and we start with the friendlies. UTT

Bournemouth have a challenging run-in next spring, so I hope they're not fighting to avoid relegation come March. The fixture list for the last few games reads:

I guess the serious transfer speculation will start soon. Saints look likely to lose Clyne and Schneiderlin, I fear, though we shall see. Looks as if Jay Rodriguez will stay, having recently signed a new contract, but will we really need him?

Meanwhile, in the national league. We are well and truly on course for a good season,for a change!! Our players return Thursday for pre season. The club have an open day Saturday, just to see what the changes have happened around the ground. Especially the new restaurant and sponsors rooms, to meet the bevy of new players and try to persuade us to buy the new away shirt.
Really looking forward to the season! Our pre season friendlies start on July 11 and we get to find out who were playing next week, don't know why it's so late!

Training starts on 1st July for the town then they have a friendly the week after and then they jet off to i think Spain for a week and play a match whilst there then come back and more friendlies and 1st August is the friendly with Barnsley.

And what your paying out for season tickets is truly shocking! We were discussing this at work, what is your lowest prices for an adult season ticket?

I don't know about cost of season tickets tbh. I've just looked a the cost of a ticket for the big category A games - £64 where we normally sit - and that's a cheap seat!. We won't be going to many/any home games lol.

Yes to both - we can maintain top 4 and we can win the league. We won't win the league though, but we will be 4th again after excelling last season and coming 3rd.
