Nope theres nowt much at New Brighton just a few amusements and hotels and thats about it really. Unless they have done it all up since i last went way back in the 90's the days of having a car
Where as Torquay was so much nicer and i even went on little outings all over Devon i was down there in 1996 at Easter for a week.Spent 4 days travelling on train special 4 day ticket.
New Brighton has had a few bob spent on it the last few years.
It has some great venues now. Good places to eat and relax for a few beers.
If only I could!!!!
You can relax surely with a few beers you cant beat it
Over ten years now mate! Totally abstaining!
Too many carbs mate!
Oh right well i dont drink much these days but i still like the odd tipple now and again even more so at Xmas
I have a shot of single malt at New year!
A glass of Bacardi and coke Christmas day or birthday.
That's it mate, don't miss it or the carbs!

Jennings are still brewing up here and deffo worthyJust thinking on, I used to enjoy a pint of bitter in the lakes.
Jennings come to mind but I'm not certain. A particular pub in Keswick and vermouth served it straight from a proper keg. It was definitely a local brew. Gorgeous!
First ever pint of John Smith's bitter was in my teens nearly fifty years ago!
Nothing tasted so sublime then or since!
Just not proper beer these last few decades!
That's it, blood glucose disorders discovered to be caused by john Smith's bitter and footie fanaticism!
