2015/16 Football Season

We entertain Mansfield Town tomorrow at BP

Hope the weather is fair and that the Cumbrians give me a win ......please

Our final Run in
Hull Home 1 point
Blackburn Away 3 points
Rotherham Away 1 point
Birmingham Home 1 point
Bristol City away 3 points
and finish with a home tie to Brentford i'd like to hope we get a point tomorrow
My predicitons see Nosher aint the only one that can predict :D:D:D
Mystic Meg at your service :D:D

Newcastle at home today. Should be a foregone conclusion but they're desperate, and it's often games like this that Saints mess up.

Much though I'd hate to see Newcastle and/or Sunderland go down, because a couple of my best friends are Geordies, this is no time for sentiment. :)

Good luck :) We would welcome Newcastle and Sunderland to come join us along with Villa.

Phew im drained twice we took the lead and twice Hull came back. Thankfully MK Dons got a 4-0 Hammering at Rotherham.
I think we are fairly safe now. Just need to knock a win in over Blackburn next week.
Leeds lost 1-0 at Burnley

Bolton are leaving us for certain now. Aston Villa are coming down to join us. Bradford are looking likely candidates to come join us i hope and pray they do.

At last Northampton can crack open that bottle of champers they drew but it was enough for them to be certain Promoted. There will be a lot of partying down there congratulations to them :)

Oh dear Carlisle lost :(

Tranmere Mr Nosher i bet you are elated at that win :D

Saints 3, Newcastle 1. I really think Newcastle are going to struggle to stay up now. We're now 2 points behind Wet Spam, although they have a game in hand.

Swansea beat Chelsea, and Bournemouth beat Aston Villa: I don't think there's much doubt about the Cherries staying up now, they've reached the magic 40 points. Similarly, if there was any doubt about Villa going down before the game, it's pretty much a done deal, now.

Carlisle were 2nd best all round today and Mansfield deserved their win
At least the weather stayed fair
Mixed results for the regulars on here well done to the winners and hard luck losers

Looking bleak for the geordies

Our problem is the defence whatever happens we need to work on the defence this summer and get it right. Throwing a lead away twice is not acceptable. Neither is relying on other teams to lose. Happens every season though every year the final run in has been a bloody scrap for us. I fear that one year we wont be so lucky and get relegated :(

I reckon you are safe this season Johnboy lad

Leicester City surely there will never be a bigger upset than them winning the league

I hope they manage to do it
Either them or Spurs not Citeh not Arsenal not Scum
Yaaaay

Not entirely surprised that they beat Sunderland, but it's going to be hard to stop them, now. It would be good to see them win, if only because Gary Lineker has said that he will present MOTD in his Boxers if they do :D

Not wild about Spurs winning, but that's because they have a tendency to nick some of our best managers and players.

Just to catch up, well done to those that won, commiserations to those that didn't!

Rovers won in a very tight game down at Torquay 1-0.
It keeps us in the playoff picture.
We have to keep on winning, but next week we can do some real damage if we win to one of our rivals, unfortunately, we are at home in a big derby game against Wrexham, who we haven't beat in two other games. So everything crossed. Would rather play away!! Our home from is not the best!

The English Riviera was like Siberia yesterday! Snow, hail, rain, sleet, drizzle, windy and cold. And a bit of sunshine, good job I took my thermals with me.
At one point, I thought Carlisle were playing in yellow! Ha!

Well done Leicester and spurs keeping the title going.

Crewe relegated!
Aston Villa all but gone!
