2016/17 Football Season

Norwich are 2-0 up with 15 mins to go so it looks like they will run out winners and move in to 2nd just 2 points behind us. Its getting tight near the top now and no room for error.
 
One thing Puzzles me. The Checkatrade trophy which i'm assuming took over the paint pot trophy is split in to Groups similar to the world cup qualifiers.Whats all that in aid of ? when Johnstones had it it was just North and South.
 
We're playing Blackburn Rovers at home on Tuesday night and I have nee idea why!! Is it to do with with the tin pot trophy for leagues 1 and 2
What are they doing in it if so?

I thought it was for the lower leagues 1 and 2.The Blackburn you are playing are the U21's which does seem a little odd doesnt it but i hope you win regardless :)
 
Hard fought 0-0 by the Rovers yesterday, nice day out down sarf.
Got a point from the leaders, with ten men, hopefully we have two home games this week and with a bit of luck, get six points and put us somewhere near the top again. Table very tight at top.
My youth got beat again, not happy!

Well in the tin pot trophy we beat Blackburn Rovers U23 2-0 they had ex Man U Wes Brown playing for them

That's is played 2 in this group won 2 lost 0 for 7 against 4 (we beat Oldham at their gaffe in a nine goal thriller 5-4
 
OMG!
We were awful Tuesday night!
Lost 1-0 it seems the world is crashing about our ears, so many injuries and suspensions.
After getting such a good draw at the weekend, we have squandered a chance to get back in with a chance.

Big derby on Saturday, hopefully they are just as bad as us!

England v Malta is on ITV at 5pm i'll be watching it. Bookies have them down for 5-0 win.I doubt that will be the score :D
