2016/17 Football Season

Woo hoo!
4-1 win, changes made and they came up with the result!

_Barrow at home in quarter final!

Woo hoo!

Bromley at home Saturday!

Yeah Zand you experienced that on Sunday the losing team turned up at John Smith's :D:D
lol yeh though not the quite same thing John. That was a good game. It's when you see a team one week and they are full of fire and play near their very best and then the next week the same players are lack lustre and really can't be bothered to turn up. The first week you come home saying 'We've got our Arsenal back' and the next week...well it's back to same old same old.

Its a bit like us we have a good run then it all goes pear shaped. Pressure is on now to keep in the top 6 if we want a cack at the play offs. :)

Well blow me down we've only notched yet another win. 1-2. That's 3 on the trot and 4 if you count the Demolition of Rochdale in the cup. Moved up to 3rd place cos Reading only drew. :D
I bet Zand is sick cos Leeds lost 0-2 to ****** Cardiff. :D

Bad day for Carlisle :(
Last time I looked Tranmere were 2-1 up finished 2-2 rather unfortunate. Still a point is a point. :)

Saints won 0-4 bet that pleases our resident Saints fan Mr Hay Char :D

Just a bit :) Mind you, if we can't beat them we're in very deep sh!t.

Having said which, I always feel sorry for Sunderland; I really like Geordies. The very first game I ever took my son to was against them, and Saints won, and it seems to have been a similar story ever since. When we watched that game I thought that one of their players, a guy called Kevin Phillips, looked a bit handy - the next season, Sunderland were in the Championship and he was playing for us. That was in the time of Gordon Strachan: oh happy days......

Threw away a two goals lead, sending off changed game. We were cruising and could have had five or six goals first half! That's why we are not top, not finishing teams off! Not scoring enough when on top!
Feels like a defeat!
But could have lost at the end!
Be lucky to get promotion this season!

Good wins for saints and hudders!

Not a good day for Carlisle!
On the slide now!

Tonight we aim to hammer another nail in Rotherham's coffin. Should be a walk over really but Town being Town have been known to lose to **** :D

Carlisle in action home to Donny. Be a tough one that Cumberland as Donny are firing on all 4 cylinders. Hope you manage to beat em all the same. :)

We have lost the plot

Phew we made hard work of that but we scraped a 2-3 win. UTT we had 33 shots 9 on target and 3 goals in. That's some going eh :D:D
Well done to Carlisle clung on to that win I told you so Cumberland :D:D

Good win for Hudds keeping up the pressure

I don't believe we can go from pooh to something a bit less poohish

Interesting end to the season as we have still to play Plymouth away, Portsmouth at home, Luton at home and Exeter away

Nail biting lol

Hang on in there :D

I'm both glad and sad this morning.

Glad that although I had a ticket to last night's Champions League match I was too ill to go.
Sad for Wenger who has been a great manager and deserves much respect for that.

Football has been ruined by idiots on social media who have probably never been to a match in their lives.

Commiserations. Sometimes things just don't work and your team gets beaten heavily. I'm thinking of a recent FA Cup game against Arsenal :)

Yes, Wenger has been a great Manager. In many ways, greater than Alex Ferguson, in my opinion, and certainly a better human being. If he is on his way out - and it's still if - I hope he is allowed to step down with dignity; it's the least that Arsenal owe him.
