2016/17 Football Season

I don't flipping believe it man sent off and in stoppage time we went and let Burton score. Annoyed doesn't come in to it. Carry on like that and we will drop out of play offs. Better shape up for the Norwich game on Wednesday.

Well done to Carlisle and Tranmere and anyone else's team who was playing today and won :)

I saw the report of the late Burton goal Bummer

Tranny breathing down Lincolns neck now

And crikey we score and win

We are 10 ahead of 7th place which ought to be enough but you never know with us. Either way I cant see us going up. :)

Yeah Tranny have come good of late :)

Nowt better than a derby win!
Great atmosphere with our travelling support of over 1200!
And we need to keep winning! Lincoln won as well!
FGR slumped to a home defeat to bottom of the league!

On to Tuesday and Sutton at home!

Well done Carlisle, unlucky Huddersfield!

Plenty of twists and turns, yet!
Just happy to believe we can do this!

I saw that match on Sky

Leeds were quite dirty surprise surprise

Woo hoo, 3-2 winners.
Just about won, nearly threw it away!
Back joint top!
Home to Solihull Saturday,
Woo hoo!

Well done. :)

Bet Zand isn't pleased that Leeds lost. :D

Its our turn tonight. Home to Norwich live on Sky Sports 1. We need to win really to strengthen our play off place. I'll take a draw but certainly won't be happy if we play like Saturday and lose in the last minute. Remaining positive. UTT :D

I'll be watching mate!
But I will be flicking over to see how the other games our going!

I would far rather Tranny came back up auto

I have a very bad memory of Sincil Bank years ago I took my son aged 6/7 and his mate made a day out of it and standing at the ground waiting to get into Sincil Bank a group of scummy Chavs arrived throwing stones and coins at the away end turnstiles

Never liked them since

So come on Tranny do your stuff and win the title

Leeds were very dirty in the 70's

I remember in the early seventies seeing Leeds play at Goodison Park and Anfield.
It was a much different game then!
Being 'dirty' was part and parcel of the tactics.
There would be hardly any modern prima donnas left on the park, if the rules and referees would allow it!
But they were a really talented bunch of players as well!

They are laughingly called the ultra!
They have good support as well of course!
We had no problems with them in six games, that I have witnessed.
But doesn't every club have its morons and idiots?
We certainly do!

They are having a great season and if we do get above them, it will be a really great achievement!

Hope the cumbrians can at least get in the playoffs, it was looking so good for you!

They think its all over. It is now and poor old Norwich trip back the 200 miles with a 0-3 loss. Town back on form. Should have had more. :singing::joyful::cool::D

Huddersfield have not completed a league double over Norwich since the 1967-68 season.

We have now UTT :singing::joyful::cool::D

No zand wasn't pleased but hey ho that's footie.

I'm a bit late posting this cos I've been busy. My Aussie cousin and her hubby thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Arsenal v Man City. They now call themselves fans and intend to go to watch Arsenal when they play in Sydney in July. :) The game was so much better then anything we have been to for a couple of months. OK only a draw, but we were happy with that, Arsenal weren't perfect but at least it looked like most of the team was trying.

We also took them to Wembley to feel the atmosphere on a match day. We didn't walk all the way to it cos my cousin was frightened by some of the Oxford fans (they were fine really, but she doesn't like crowds, especially drunken ones).
