Well Leeds got a point against Merseyside Reds (as appeared on the Leeds fixture list as a response to the proposed Super League idea) 1-1. Same points as Arsenal again now.
Don't feel any love for Arsenal right now. I think I will cancel my memberships. Holding on to them for now as I do enjoy footie trips with the family, but there are other clubs and the occasional trip to Elland Road would be good.
When we first became Arsenal members about 25 years ago we felt part of the Arsenal family. A huge club, but we felt wanted. That has changed in the last few years, the sacking of Gunnersaurus was hard to take. This is so much worse. Even if the Super League doesn't happen, the fact that Arsenal were going to be founder members will always sadden me and the damage has been done.
We have become increasingly unhappy Gooners. The trip to the final in Baku was disappointing. You would think that with Fly Emirates as sponsors they could have provided flights for us at just above cost price. But no, our sponsors didn't even bother to do flights there. Instead we had to go with Thomas Cook Sport who were on the verge of collapse.Sad to say it was only a matter of time following the arrival of Stan Kroenke... and will get worse. A period of knocking round the bottom of the ESL for Arsenal and Spurs will fair destroy their fan base in the UK.... elsewhere, who knows.
Was happy when Leeds scored, listening on the radio and it was coming but..... it doesn't always end like you would hope...
It's called money. I hope those clubs are banned from the Premier League and European Competitions too for this season and the next with immediate effectThe PM is meeting officials from football governing bodies the FA and the Premier League, as well as fans' representatives, later to discuss the proposed European Super League.
Absolute madness is this idea. Not sure as they are doing it to save football. Me thinks there's another sinister motive.

Money, money, money!

It has been rightly condemned, but what is more important?
Football or children hungry and no way of getting out of poverty?
Away at Bradford city tonight. Need a win. But without our top goalscorer and the first choice spine, will be lucky to get a draw.
The premier league meeting of the remaining 14 clubs, have surprisingly all come out and voted against the ESL. All 14 had to agree with the proposal and get a quorum of two-thirds to make it legal.

Good luck. Hope you beat the Bantams.
