2020/21 Football Season.

0-0, three league games, two cup games and a lot of minutes without a goal!
Two points from three games!
Can't believe we're below Carlisle in the league table @Cumberland!

Played better today but sadly lacking in front of goal.

Nor can I believe that we're not!
I don't think the players know that the reason they play is to score goals. That is if they know where they are!
5 games no goals!

I think that the amount of moaning I have been doing has at last worked!
We played liverpoo u21s in the paint pot cup and we won, and there is more, we scored three goals!!!!
Just like a forty nine bus!
We had six defensive players in the first half, one up front, and at half time we were losing one nil from a superb free kick. The reds dominated possession....
At half time we made a sub and a change to a 5-3-2 and later on we made another sub and went 4-4-2!! We scored twice in two minutes, they equalised with ten minutes to go, and we went ahead at the death to win our first game since Blackpool in March!
Pity it wasn't in the league!

Yeah that's a good result. Better than losing. Next stop is Away to Swansea in 2 weeks time.

Yeah, noticed that, would have been a well attended game at your place!

Can't see us being allowed back anytime soon.
If the virus gets worse, it could curtail the season again!

Don't know where to start this week. Pleased that Leeds picked themselves up after a bad 20 minutes early on v Man City to earn a draw. Just wish we hadn't given away 2 pens the first match of the season v Liverpool. I would have been laughing even more now. 3 points lost against a team with a worse defence than us apparently.

And who was that ref for Leeds v Man City ? Lol. For the most part I thought he was fair and correct and didn't ruin the game. I barely noticed him. There must be 2 Mike Deans...one for Arsenal matches and 1 for the rest. Can't believe it's the same guy! Although I have to say I think Dallas should have maybe had a red card for the injury time foul. If he had been a gooner he would have for sure.

And Arsenal...well I'm glad they got the 3 points, but not an exciting game. Not a great performance, but it's the result that matters.

Not happy. No job for him without fans but the home annual membership fees have still been taken from the fans even though they aren't allowed in...

Edit. Let's hope Ozils offer to pay gunnersaurus wages is accepted.

My club is charging a tenner for non season ticket holders for a really poor service called Ifollow. It is streaming but because of bandwidth and poor cameras, it is awful!
Our season ticket holders get a free pass and we make some money on away games if we get a certain amount of viewers either on video or audio.
The point is, if we don't get at least season ticket holders into grounds, the chances are that quite a few clubs will have difficulty paying players wages.
That will have all kinds of ramifications to the lower league clubs.

If the government, FA, EFL, premiership, ad infinitum don't get their act together, especially if another lockdown is initiated. The demise of the football pyramid is certain.

If the day after the transfer window closes and the amounts of money spent by many top clubs is in the region of hundreds of millions pounds to be going out of the country to foreign clubs. Surely there must be some money around to help the clubs that have just put a wage freeze and a budget of just over a million for the season.

Words fail me!

I hope he keeps his job. He is a nice guy who also did our stadium tour. We see him (as himself lol)at away matches. It's not good enough just to give the suit to someone else when normality returns.
