Ok so I know I'm being a bit early but just seen this on our club website. Won't long as the Friendlies will be announced and I'm keeping a close eye on things. Hopefully the 2023/24 season will be a good one for our lads under new ownership.

A full list of the key dates ahead of the 2023/24 season can be found below:

22 June 2023 –
Fixtures released
5 August 2023 – Sky Bet Championship Opening Fixture
w/c 7 August 2023 – Carabao Cup First Round
25 February 2024 – Carabao Cup Final
26 May 2024 – Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final

Further updates on pre-season friendlies and schedules across the Club will be provided in due course.

As always mate, you can have the honour of starting next season's thread.
Can't be any worse than the one just finished!!!!

Watch this space for a list of who our lads will be playing next season who's coming from the Prem and who's coming from the League one. We already know the saints are one of em along with Plymouth and Ipswich. We also know that we'll be gaining a Yorkshire side either Barnsley or Sheff Weds and maybe even Leeds as things stand.

Just spotted the new season after posting on the last one - so I won’t repeat myself

Good luck to all our teams
I’m dreaming premier league laugh my **** off

I hope you do well in League one. Then if you were to get promoted you would really come up against the big stuff.

Our Friendly fixtures are now complete. We start at Bodmin Town Monday 10th July followed by Tavistock Weds 12th then comes Liskeard Athletic 15th July so a Cornish week for the lads. Then it's back up North to Stockport 22nd July and finally play host to Dutch club SC Heerenveen 29th July. Then comes the big season opener 5th August which we will discover when the new fixtures come out next Thursday. Hopefully Mr Warnock will work his magic on us together with money from Mr Kevin Nagle.

The only decent preseason game we have is Fleetwood. The rest is very non league and Rochdale and an Everton XI.,
Only made one signing so far and that is Christian Dennis from somewhere near you @Cumberland . A striker who has an idea what a goal looks like! Haven't seen one like that for a few years! Only seen him a couple of times, what is he like?
It will start going bonkers in July!

Hopefully you will have a great season mate.

Can it get any worse than last season?
I wouldn't like to think so, but until August, we won't know! I think that it will be less stressful for you @johnboy412000! And I hope that @Cumberland has a great season in league one.
At least we will be up against FGR again!

The Fixtures are out and we start the season 4th August down at Plymouth. They came up from League one so not played them in a long while. Our last match of the season ends on 4th May 2024 away to the Tractor boys (Ipswich) Leeds on October 28th at Bell end Rd. The big West Yorkshire derby and the 2nd meeting will be 2nd March at ours. Hopefully it will be a good season for all our teams.

Barnsley away in cup! Our old striker Norwood will probably score a hat trick!
Barrow at home first, then MK Done away in league.
Fleetwood and Wigan in EFL cup.

Wrexham at home in September!

Great news that Connor Jennings is back with us. He has scored twice at Wembley in our play off games including the extra, extra time winner!
Get the footie on!

Only joking! Let's enjoy the summer!

Not been around. Quite a lot going and none of it really getting sorted....

Mainly good news for the teams, HT stay well with some impressive results. CU win in London.

DUFC get dropped to "Championship"... sadly, well deserved. Jim Goodwin stays and a few players leave, probably not enough and probably not the right ones.

First game on Saturday, friendly with East Fife.

and the Dees got promoted.

Scotland shocker....
Craig Brown died, he was one of the good ones.
As did Gordon McQueen, sad end for him and his family.

Golf has died.
