2024/25 Football Season

Yeah it's definitely the EFL Trophy. It happens once per year for League One Two and some Premiership U21's. It starts off with us all in Leagues of 4 teams playing each other once. The Top 2 of each group go in to the last 32 which is where we are now and then the last 16, 8 then Semi's and Final at Wembley. We are just 4 games away from going to Wembley. I'm trying to remain positive. I think the current EFL Cup was once the League Cup then the Milk Cup and Carabao cup.

The English Football League Trophy (also known as Vertu Trophy for sponsorship reasons), shortly EFL Trophy, is an annual English football knockout competition open to all clubs in EFL League One and EFL League Two and U-21 teams from Premier League and EFL Championship. [1]

Well that's Tranmere out :( and we are out too. Beaten 3-1. Our goal was scored by Bolton. We were absolutly diabolical. Oh well Home to Lincoln on Saturday afternoon in the League which matters more. We are still unbeaten in 8 League games. Lincoln are 8 points behind us so we really ought to bag at least 1 point.

Ours was a speculative strike from about 25 yards and a 98th minute rebound off the keeper.

We have another Yorkie lot on Saturday, horrorgate. At PP. 12.30 no on sky+

Last minute at Elland road 2-1 up.

Like us you can concentrate on the league now. All Cups are done till next season.
 
Well Well Well I was writing us off after it went 0-2 at Half time. We pulled 2 back to finish up 2-2 draw. All the other results were in our favour so we stay in 4th place and the points gap is enough to ensure we stay there for Christmas. Next game is a trip down the M1 to Cambridge next Friday night. Seeing as they are in the Relegation Zone we ought to steal all 3 points but given our inability to score many goals I don't know.
