Well done Kaity! I had a similar plan when I was diagnosed last September with a 97, managed to get down to 45 by the beginning of December on a low carb diet and felt so much better physically for it. Just had a follow up Hba1c today after another 6 months and hoping to have at least remained at that level. Have thrown in the odd ‘treat’ every now and again since December so will be interesting to see! Fingers crossed I’m lower than in December but if not I know what works and am happy to go back to not having the treats!

Kaity keep going! I got by results and have kept it up even with some little treats thrown in from time to time. Down to 39 so I’m now in normal range again. Just have to remain consistent now but 7 months on I have gone from 97 on diagnosis to 45 3 months later and 39 7 months later. Obviously quite chuffed, just got to keep it up but less worried now.
