55 yr old fit male

Waking with a reading of 121 most days? Occationally 119. Eat breakfast and raises to 129 2 hrs later. Then lowers again 109 etc? Never goes above 138 even after eating.

Not sure how im.doing im.on low carb. Grilled fish turkey. Oats. Salads. Eggs.
Been strict for 9 days now? Cut out sugar in tea coffee etc no fizzy drinks or candy. Help advice anyone?
 
Have a look at the low carb page of the Diet Doctor site, https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb . Probably the best source there is in that it's nice and clearly expressed and it's all there.
But do come back here and ask questions. Sounds like you have made a good start.

@Hansenguy62 those numbers look pretty good considering how long you have been doing this.

The real confirmation will be your next HbA1c.

It's the reason I opened the thread, I thought it was going to on to say, "would like to meet woman in mid 60's, passionate low carber, looking for more than blood sugar ......"

You don't say if you have been diagnosed with diabetes, and if so how long ago.

Are you just checking that your glucose levels are in the normal range?
Are you worried that you might have diabetes?

I had a reading of 6.5 which was a spike from my kast blood work. However kast 4 months i tried vegitarian and ended up eating buckets if fruit. Im thinking nay have veen the issue. No neds yet. I asked for 4 months to lower my sugar by diet. Reading of 91 tonight after gym then 130 after big chicken salad. With desert of fruit and cream . Low carb of course
 
Fruit isn't really low carb - it has a lot of sugars. So vegetarian can be just as bad (or good) as an omnivore diet depending on which vegetables and fruits you choose. Loads of fruit could have pushed your bloods up.

6.5 is certainly pre-diabetic but also can be a "just in time" warning to take action.

131/7.3 isn't bad, and 91/5.1 is pretty good.

You seem to have the exercise sorted. Dive into the low carbohydrate diet forum and work out an eating plan which fits in with your lifestyle.:)
