Have you had a recent blood test for Red Blood Count (RBC) and iron / ferritin levels checked and have you a recent haematocrit value. Tiredness and lack of energy can also be a sign of possible B12 depletion, or iron depletion. As you are on large dose of Metformin then you should get these levels checked routinely.

Unfortunately - only had my Hba1c tested and my Cholesterol levels checked. but i will request those to be checked.
i used to supplement B12 many months ago until my levels went to 998ng/l which was high.

I will update my profile. as far as weight goes - i checked in today @ 72kg so i have put on even whilst on trulicity- i want to just build muscle and lose my belly. my goal this year was to lose my belly which the year is almost coming to a end so i don't think this year i will be able to maybe.. next year. It isn't easy but i really want to see what i can do. if i could have enough energy to run or walk for a good hour or so without burning out or tiring i would probably have achieved my goal.. i do walk everyday regardless if i feel tired
Can you update your meds too please as all I see is oral, but the meds aren't specified. It can take a week or two at lower blood sugar levels to feel the health benefits. A few hours at 7-9 won't feel different. It takes time for our bodies to adjust to changes

I note that your meter is reporting a rise of 3 or 4 mmol/l at the 2 hr mark after every meal you have declared so far. Are you sure there is not something you are adding that is not listed. Such as chutney or ketchup. a bread roll or say a tortilla for the wrap. eggy bread soldiers? cup of coffee. or several cups. any OTC preparations or supplements such as a tonic or cough mixture / cold remedy like Lemsip?

The reason I ask is that i sometimes have a 3 egg omlette, with chicken, bacon, bell peppers, sweetcorn onions. It is a panfull and a large helping all greedily scoffed by moi, and my 2hr PP is usually less than 0,5 rise, followed by drop of a couple of points at the 4hr mark. This is on onex40mg Gliclazide tablet. I had omlette last night. So I know this meal is low carb. Your breakfast should do similar, especially on the higher Glic dose you are on. Maybe you need to look at the timing of the med. It needs to be taken at least 20 mins before the meai starts so as to work best.

Only OTC i take is D3, - i will try tomorrow without the actimel - It is different when im @ work sometimes i can stay at my fasting level and then go up 0.1 or 0.5mmol but then i check and it is down. i will try and write down my meals.

& no lettuce and mayonnaise on the wrap. and i checked the wrap and it by my surprise does contain a lot of carbs which i will keep in mind next time i eat.

Have you got a good list of what are foods with carbs in them ?
Normally i look at the per 100g if its below 15g i will have it and if its above 20g and higher i will avoid it. certain times i have no option when im @ work i will have a prawn sandwich... again the pack contains 41.g carbs.. I will struggle when i am at work because i do get hungry... but i drink 1L water to flush it down and i go up by only 2-3mmol
